Annie McEnaney
Biography
Ms. Annie McEnaney is an associate with Gilbert Employment Law, focusing on the representation of both federal and private sector employees involving claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, as well as violations of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Whistleblower Protection Act, and related state and local laws. Ms. McEnaney’s practice includes litigating on behalf of clients in federal and state courts, as well as administrative forums such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Merit Systems Protection Board.
Prior to joining Gilbert Employment Law as an associate in 2023, Ms. McEnaney served as a law clerk with the firm. In addition to clerking with Gilbert Employment Law during law school, Ms. McEnaney worked as a student attorney with the Disability Rights Law Clinic. As a student attorney, Ms. McEnaney represented individuals with disabilities in D.C. Superior Court and at I.E.P. meetings. Ms. McEnaney was also a member of the Business Law Review as well as the Labor and Employment Law Society.
Ms. McEnaney graduated with her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, as well as a Certificate in Disability Studies from the University of Georgia.
Ms. McEnaney is a member of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association.
