Jasmine M. Santos
Biography
Ms. Jasmine M. Santos is an associate with Gilbert Employment Law, focusing on the representation of both federal and private sector employees in claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, as well as violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and related state and local laws. Ms. Santos’ practice includes litigating on behalf of clients in federal and state courts, and administrative forums such as the Equal Opportunity Commission and the Merit Systems Protection Board.
Prior to joining the Gilbert Employment Law as an associate in 2024, Ms. Santos worked as an associate with a plaintiff-side employment law firm in Rockville, MD, where she represented private sector and federal employees on a variety of employment-related issues. Additionally, she served as an Attorney Advisor to an Administrative Law Judge at the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Administrative Law Judges. As a student attorney with the Civil Advocacy Clinic at American University Washington College of Law, Ms. Santos represented employees in wage and hour disputes in D.C. Superior Court and Maryland Circuit Court. Ms. Santos was also a member of the American University Business Law Review, where she served as the Associate Managing Editor.
Ms. Santos earned her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and political science from Rochester Institute of Technology. She is admitted to practice law in Maryland, U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
Ms. Santos is a Board Member of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association.
