Ms. Abryana Marks is an associate attorney with Gilbert Employment Law, focusing on the representation of both federal and private sector employees on claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, as well as violations of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and related state and local laws. Ms. Marks’s practice includes litigating on behalf of clients in federal and state courts, as well as administrative forums such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Prior to joining Gilbert Employment Law as an associate in 2024, Ms. Marks served as a law clerk with the firm. In addition to clerking with Gilbert Employment Law during law school, Ms. Marks interned for Associate Judge Tonya Jones Bosier at the DC Superior Court. During law school Ms. Marks served as a student attorney for the Estate Planning and Heirs Property Clinic and a Teaching Assistant for Contracts and Property. She also was a Senior Articles Editor of the Howard Law Journal, Howard University School of Law’s flagship publication.

Ms. Marks graduated with her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Legal Studies Concentration and minor in English from Jackson State University.

Ms. Marks is a Bench-Bar Committee member of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association.
