Chloe Barrett

Ms. Chloe Barrett is an associate with Gilbert Employment Law, focusing on the representation of both federal and private sector employees involving claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, as well as violations of the the Whistleblower Protection Act, Rehabilitation Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and related state and local laws. Ms. Barrett’s practice includes litigating on behalf of clients in federal and state courts, as well as administrative forums such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Merit Systems Protection Board.

Prior to joining Gilbert Employment Law as an Associate Attorney, Ms. Barrett served as a law clerk with the Department of Labor’s Mine Safety and Health Administration. Ms. Barrett twice served as a student attorney, representing undocumented minors in immigration court removal proceedings, and representing indigent tenants in eviction proceedings. Ms. Barrett was an International Rule of Law Fellow, and externed with a strategic litigation non-profit working to advance women’s rights in Africa. Ms. Barrett was also an Articles Editor for the Arizona State Sports and Entertainment Law Journal.

Ms. Barrett graduated with her Juris Doctor from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Journalism from the University of Denver.

Ms. Barrett is a member of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association.
