Marlene Laimeche has over 10 years of experience representing public and private sector employees in employment litigation and related matters.  Ms. Laimeche practices before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), the Office of Special Counsel (OSC), and in federal and state courts.  Her practice areas include discrimination and harassment claims, reasonable accommodation requests, wage and hour laws, family and medical leave, and whistleblower retaliation.

Ms. Laimeche previously worked in the Office of the General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Commerce.  In this role, she advised managers and HR specialists on various personnel issues, including disciplinary matters and compliance with employment and civil service laws.  Ms. Laimeche also represented the Department in litigation before the EEOC and MSPB.

In law school, Ms. Laimeche served on the staff of the Administrative Law Review and as a student attorney for the Immigrant Justice Clinic.  Ms. Laimeche also clerked for the U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review and several legal aid organizations in Washington, DC.
